Founders

Following years of raising funds for a number of addiction treatment programs, Margaret Stone founded Veterans Healing Initiative in 2009 after uncovering a dramatic need for dual-diagnosis substance abuse and PTSD treatment for veterans. Responding to the epidemic in the veteran community, Ms. Stone created Veterans Healing Initiative, an independent charitable organization, to make treatment possible for many veterans who otherwise could not afford treatment.

Board of Governors

Our Board of Governors is comprised of executives who have a personal connection to the disease of addiction as well as decorated Veterans who are dedicated to serving the men and women of the Armed Forces.

Honorary Advisory Board

Our Honorary Advisory Board consists of select individuals who have made contributions to the field of addiction, held important government or military positions or worked in other industries that are relevant to our efforts.
