She meanwhile taught classes at both Marymount College and Columbia in chemical dependency and its treatment. She has trained social work interns in addiction treatment at New York Hospital/Weil Medical College E.A.P., and lectured widely at private schools in Manhattan.
For twenty-five years, Polly McCall has been in private practice in New York City, working with all aspects of chemical dependency, from intervention to recovery psychotherapy. She consults frequently with doctors and colleagues on chemical dependency issues.
